Hello, I am just looking into a possible claim for a accident in a public place that led to a leg brake at the moment, I want a solicitor with low rates and will take my case on a no win no fee basis.

I caught my foot and tripped and fell over on an uneven payment in the street around the park, paving slab was broken and parts elevated a couple of inches above the ground, making the walkway a real dangerous tripping hazard.

I am in 2 minds at the moment about putting the claim in for my fall, had a trip whilst walking my dog, a friend witnessed the incident and I have taken some pictures on my phone of the area for photographic evidence.

was an uneven surface, it looked like it had been damaged by a lorry or some heavy machinery driving and going over it and i went and tripped over and my ankle went from under me as a result, I fella and landed on my knee, causing a serious knee injury.
The doctor has said I have sprained my ankle, broke my foot and dislocated my patella in the knee joint and I will not be able to walk unless i am on crutches for a while and limping even longer after that.

Been signed off work for 4 weeks with my injuries and im now back on amended duties but struggling to keep up, Im worrid Ill be back out of work and still wont get sick pay.

Can I sue the local council for negligence not repairing the path and claim compensation for my personal injury and loss of earnings?
