Accident at work, I fell and injured wrist and back in the supermarket store, can I claim Compensation?

Hi work in he supermarket and had an accident at work that was not my fault, I was seriously injured and have had to take time of work.

In the supermarket store canteen, me and workmates were on our brake when a colleague pulled my chair away from me as I was about to sit down as a joke but I slipped and fell to the floor backwards landing on my bum hard.

I put my hand out to try and stop my fall as a result I have sprained my wrist and have a very sore neck and back and knee from where I jerked my spine and I have hurt my coccyx/tail bone.
The incident happened 5 weeks ago I have not returned to work yet and I am still in pain.

I have missed out on a lot of wages but my boss has written saying he is going to put my on statutory sick pay very soon.

I feel entitled to compensation and I would like to claim for work related injuries against the company or store.

What advice would you give?
