Accident at work sliced hand open, need stitches, company bankrupt, can I still claim compensation?

I had an accident at work last year but the company went bust and is in liquidation, could I still claim compensation for my injuries from my employers or will they just say they have no money?

I was removing a hand slicer blade as the manager asked then cut my palm open, I had a deep gaping laceration across the width of my hand and was bleeding perfidiously.

I was shown briefly in about 5 minutes my a co worker how to take the blade out but never 100% knew how to take it out safely as i had no real training or qualifications, but I didn't want to seem dumb or loose my job so the boss really put my on the spot and I felt under pressure to do it, even though he knew the equipment was potentially dangerous.

It was reported in the book as an accident at work and I have pictures of the wound on my phone as evidence including a photo with 12 stitches in which I received in hospital, I still have a visible scar going across my palm as well which looks ugly?

How much compensation could I claim for these injuries? do I need to get the money from the business I was working for if I do make a case?
