Accident in work

Hi all. I work as a HGV driver and got hurt when coupling a trailer to my lorry cab. I’ve broke my wrist because the trailer wasn’t secured properly and moved when it shouldn’t. Luckily it only clipped my arm but it could have been much worse. Obviously I cant use my wrist now so I can’t work. Just looking for some support and advice really. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the site. You could look to make a workplace injury claim for what happened as there’s clearly been an error in safety somewhere along the line if the trailer wasn’t secured.
