Am I eligible to sue local council for injuries from cycling accident on a pot hole in the road?

Hey, I have had a road traffic accident while commuting to work on my bike and suffered serious personal injuries, can I claim compensation?

I was riding to work early in the morning when I hit a big deep pothole in the road and over fell off my bike over the handle bars.

I went over my handle bars and landed on my face and arms, I chipped my front tooth, banged my knee and suffered a serious elbow injury.

I went to A and E in the hospital when an ambulance came to get me as I could not move anyway where in so much pain, I had scans and tests al over my body and was told by the doctor I had dislocated my knee, fractured my elbow and sprained my wrists.

How much compensation can I claim for chipped teeth, dislocated knee and fractured elbow?

What steps do I need to take next to start a no win no fee claim?

I am sorry to read of what I am sure must have been a traumatic event

I am pleased to advise you that you are entitled to make a claim for compensation against the responsible Highways Authority.

In relation to your question regarding how much compensation you will receive, this is entirely dependent upon medical evidence. Medical evidence is obtained to both prove causation (the injuries where sustained as a direct result of the incident that has occurred) and provide a basis upon which we, as your legal representative, can accurately place a valuation upon your claim.

As an approximation from the injuries you have provided, you could receive around £15,000.00 upwards.

We would support you throughout the whole process.
