Broken pavement trip

Striarthe

New Member
I tripped on the pavement, which was a combination of broken flagstones and broken tarmac covered with gravel. I fell face first and landed heavily on my chin, which was cut open and had gravel in the wound. Also an injury to my knee and have seen a doctor recently, who is referring me for MRI scan. I used to run but the doctor told me I can't do that now, as it would cause further damage.

Sorry to hear that Striarthe. If you're looking to put forward a claim for compensation you can do so against the council if this happened on a public path/road. What I would recommend is trying to get pictures of the broken flagstones/tarmac to use as evidence before it gets repaired.
