I have recently had an public transport accident on the road, I was with a friend as passenger on a bus and basically another coach hit the bus I was on from behind, slamming into us. The driver on our bus slowed down at the bus stop when the other party crashed into us at speed, everyone was sent out their seats, I pulled the muscles in my back and Ive got a stiff aching neck and severe lower back pain that is agonising and I banged my head pretty hard and have concussion, do I have any rights to claim?
I don't have any driver details and didn't take any registration number, unfortunately all I know was I was on the arriva number 27, on the Mersey travel buses in Liverpool, so I believe I can sue the bus company instead of taking the drivers to court, I feel like it was a technical mistake, there were too many buses stopping at once and must have all left the depot at the same time. The police were there and I guess took reports but I have not called up the bus company yet and I have proof I was travelling with my oyster card.
What is the average cost for getting a solicitor to make a personal injuries claim on my behalf against the business? And if I enter into no win no fee agreement will l be liable for costs if don't win?
