My dad has been diagnosed with recently diagnosed by his gp with asbestosis - he was an electrician for years and worked in many different places under multiple contractors, details of when and where exposure took place are not clear because he can cite many times he was exposed to dangerous materials, unsafe practices.
He claims he knows of several times he was exposed to and had to move asbestos containing products and materials when he could have breathed it in, over the years he was never informed by his employers or managers of the dangers of being exposed to asbestos and didn't know about the asbestos related injuries or illnesses he could have been victim of, I think this means his old boss will be liable for his condition.
He now has permanent breathing troubles and these issues could be fatal in time and he can no longer work or do as much for him self physically since falling ill.
Will I be able to claim for work related injuries or sickness and get compensation to help my father with his struggles?
Do we need to know for certain who is liable so we can sue their business for poor working practice?
What percentage of the claim do you take if we ware successful?
