Can I claim compensation for a superficial dermal burn injury from boiling water in a hair salon?

Just wondering were I stood regarding a scaled to my head with hot water?

I was getting my hair done at the hairdressers, a Regis salon whilst rinsing my dye off the woman working in the salon used steaming hot boiling water on my head as part of my visit, she was young and inexperienced and didn't really know what she was doing, she didn't let the water cool down and it was too hot, almost freshly boiled when she poured it on me.

It was agonisingly painful, I stopped her complained at the time but she said it would be fine and she would be done soon, but I felt my scalp burning too much more than usual.

Later I saw a pale pink line on my forehead that went into my hair line where the water had been and it continued all over my scalp and down the back of my neck, the area was very painful and tender.

I complained to the salon the next day and they didn't seem to care, they told me that it happens from time to time and they need to use hot water on hair dye to wash it off on everyone, they didn't take me seriously took a photo then went to docs who told me I have a superficial dermal burn to my scalp from the salon.

Can I claim compensation for burn injuries as a result of negligence in a hair dressers salon?
