Can I claim compensation for being signed off sick from work with stress?

I had to take leave from work because of the loss of a loved one and when I returned all kinds of changes had been made I was immediately put under a lot of pressure to perform, I made complaints but after a few weeks I was signed off work with stress, can I claim compensation?
