I had a slip and fall accident that was not my fault in a restaurant and injured my leg, can I sue the restaurant for personal injuries?
I was a customer visiting a restaurant, I had been served and was looking for somewhere to sit, their seemed to be a clear and tidy area by a table and chair and when I walked over to sit down I slipped over on some food on the floor.
I slipped and fell on my leg and banged my knee on the floor, I was in so much I couldn't get up and the staff needed to help me on my feet and onto a chair.
The manager called an ambulance for me as I could not walk and had to go to hospital for tests and scans, after waiting in A and E for medical attention they told me I had dislocated my knee and fractured my patella.
My leg still isn't working right, its hurting aching and it's very tender to touch, the must have logged the incident as they witnessed it and cleared the area to clean up the food I slipped on and offered me a free meal next time.
I want to claim compensation for a fractured knee cap from a slip and fall accident in the restaurant.
