Can I claim compensation for misdiagnosis of fibromyalgia?

I have been suffering from back pain and numbness for years, a few months ago I went to hospital and had an MRI scan but got an all clear and only found our recently I have fibromyalgia and the condition has gotten worse since because of the misdiagnosis, can I claim compensation?
