Can I claim compensation from bistro pub for burns when I got scalded using their restroom?

I got burned by the water in the bistro rest room toilets and I would like to know how much compensation I could claim from the restaurant.

I was out having a drink in the pub with some friends when I got hurt by what must be a faulty sink or plumbing because near enough boiling water can spraying out of the tap.

I went the pub bathroom to use to toilet and I went to wash my hands as you do, after wards, the tap was like a booby-trap, boiling hot steaming water came bursting out the tap and sprayed everywhere.

the water burned me everywhere it got me but I had basically 3rd degree burns.

I was scalded and got soaked in the panic, I went out to my friends and said my hands were in agony and I was distressed so had to go, I went home and went the doctors the next day, he told me I have in fact scalded my self and could not believe I did it in a public restroom, he said I have superficial epidermal burns and I would have pain, soreness and my skin would be red and swollen for a few days.

Can I claim compensation from the beer garden for my injury?

Does it affect my claim if I had been drinking at the time of the accident?
