Can I claim compensation from employer for accident at work without losing job?

I was just wondering if I could claim compensation from my employer as had a injury at work and now I am having time off work and losing wages.
It was fault of faulty machinery and poor health and safety on site with no warning signs or inspection of equipment and I now have severely chipped a bone in my ankle damaging my tendons and ligaments, I was wondering if I could clame compo?

I would also like to claim loss of earnings as I have been unable to put any weight on my injured foot without my ankle going from under me.
I am worried however because I do not want to get laid off the job because I am claiming to be sick to work or fired because I sue my employer and lose them money and i do not have a health and safety trainin certificate or CSCS card yet and dont want to get in any more trouble or loose work in the future because I am banned from construction.

How should I go about taking my next step toward a claim for compensation for my personal injuries?
And will I be liable if I lose in court?

Hi Ron,

I am sorry to hear of your injuries. I am please to advise that you would qualify in making a claim against your employers.

This claim would not be allowed to affect your current employment, so would not affect your job.

We can also claim back loss of earnings for you as you are not able to work as a result of the injury.

We would accept your claim on a no win no fee basis.
