Hello there, I would like to make a no win no fee claim against a supermarket for a slip and fall accident in the store warehouse.
I am employed at a supermarket superstore and I had an accident at work that was not my fault where I seriously injured my knee.
I fell at work because there was a bottle of shampoo spilled all over the at back of work place, it was quite dark and I couldn't see the spillage on the floor.
I was sent in the back to collect some stock of the cages and a faulty bottle must have leaked shampoo all over the ground, the surface was very slippery and dangerous and their were no hazard or wet floor signs anywhere to be seen.
I slipped over and fell with my weight on my knee, I was in agonising pain and had to walk with a limp for weeks, I wanted to go home but was made to get on with my shift on a few pain killers.
I went to the emergency walk in centre after work and was told I had dislocated my knee and was signed off work with a months prognosis.
Can I claim from my employer for an accident at work resulting in a dislocated knee and loss of earnings?
