Child slipped and fell on slippery floor at school, suffered broken arm, how much compensation?

Hi I was looking for some free legal advice, my 4 year old had a bad slip or trip and fall at nursery last week, and broke her arm, she went to hospital and had x rays where they said it was a bad break and have put her arm in a cast for the next few months.

Its the only nursery around my area and they have been caught out for poor health and safety before, other children have hurt themselves in little accidents, tripping in the play ground and banging their head or slipping in the hall way, but this is too far, from what I understand my daughter suffered a severe injury because she slipped on a wet patch on the floor, where some food had been spilled and left without being cleaned up by the staff or teachers, this made the ground greasy and slippery for which no warning signs were put up and nothing was done to remove the hazard.

This is dangerously in safe practice at work, and children take the risk for poor practice in a school.

I have reported the nursery to ofsted, where they promised they are doing a full investigation of the nursery. is my child entitled to compensation from the school/nursery?

And should she expect more money in a pay out for an accident that happened in a reception/nursery?
