Claim against uninsured driver.

I was in a car accident on Wednesday where an uninsured driver hit me and then drove off ( hit and run). It was only found out a few hours later when the police caught him that he was uninsured.
I have gone through my insurance and had to claim against my own insurance due to him not having insurance and I was wondering if I could get advice on what to do next because my insurance aren't offering any help with my injury case because he was uninsured.

Hey Luseple, sorry to hear this. If you've been injured by an uninsured driver you can make an injury claim through the MIB if your insurance aren't willing to help. The MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) are there for these specific reasons exactly, they help with claims against uninsured or unknown drivers so this is something they can definitely look to help you with.
