Cyclist vs Van

Hi all, I was cycling up a hill when a transit van hit me from behind. There is dashcam footage from a passing car that stopped to help. I was taken away by an ambulance from the scene as I couldn’t move my legs or back too much, luckily there is not much injury for me other than a break in one leg and a small fracture on my ankle on the other leg.

Hiya Silcother. Sorry to hear this, hope your recovery is a quick one!
If you are thinking about making a claim for the injuries you definitely can do. If you know the reg or details of the driver you can speak to their insurance company or approach a soliciotr with the details. Also if you can get your hands on a copy of the dashcam footage that might help if there's any issues down the line if the driver tries to deny anything (Lets hope they dont!)
