The doctors gave me the wrong medication for my eye now I can't see can I claim compensation?
I now have to go hospital for check ups and treatment after I had a bad eye infection after getting a chemical in my eyes at work, it was painful and temporarily blinded me but after the first aider cleaned my eyes out with eye wash, my vision came back a little and the pain was alleviated, so I carried on working.
Roughly how much would the claim be for damage to my eyes or vision in a work related accident?
I carried on working and eventually my eyes became very irritated all the time and my sight became more and more blurry so I signed my self some time off work because I didn't want the conditions to deteriorate and I want to my gp, he said I had conjunctivitis and prescribed me some eye drops as medicine for the infection.
after using the eye drops for a few days it has become increasingly harder to see if my vision isn't totally impaired already, I think that the medication I was given has caused more damage than the accident now and would like to claim compensation for medical negligence, for damages to my eyesight.
Can I get a solicitor to take my case on a no win no fee basis?
