Fall at childminders

My daughter broke her arm at her childminders house in the summer and I’m wondering if we can make a claim? The childminder did not inform us she had fallen until I picked her up from the childminder and seen that her arm was noticeably broken, she had been screaming and crying since the fall and it was clear she was holding her arm strangely
It was only when I called her after we got home to ask if anything had happened that she told me she had fallen, and did not submit an accident form until we were in A&E having x rays

Hey Coull. Sorry to hear that about your daughter, that's terrible. The first thing I would do is ask for a copy of the accident report from the childminder if you don't have it already. If you are looking to pursue this legally I'd speak to a no win no fee legal team and see if it's something they can help you with. I hope your daughter has a speedy recovery!
