Hi my dad died recently and we have a post-mortem report which says he should not have died of natural causes, but died instead because of medical negligence after complications in surgery.
It was an operation that went wrong, he had lung cancer and had an operation to take it away in his lung. The operation was a success at the time but he quickly caught sepsis and also had to be given 6 pints of blood during the operation so he was weak and deteriorated fast.
I died from the infection two weeks after the operation.
They must have cut an artery while performing the operation and he must have almost bled out and died there and then.
Can I claim compensation for loosing my father through medical negligence?
I don't want to sue the doctors who looked after him but he was an important member of the family household and we are going to need financial help through this hard time.
Can legal expert provide us with a no win no fee solicitor to get whatever pay out we are entitled to?
