Hand trapped in door, can i claim

My finger was jammed in a shop door which closed very quickly behind me when I left. This resulted in 2 open fractures skin damage and surgery to correct the problem. it was just a normal shop door at a florist. I called them today to ask if they needed my details to report the accident but they did not comment
