Have I got a case against the salon?

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask but I had a hair cut and colour at a salon earlier in the month. They didn't give me a patch test or anything before the appointment, the cut was all wrong and I've been left with burns on my scalp which the doctors have had to give me medication cream for. I really am upset and feel like I can't leave the house I llook a mess and want to sue them.
