Hey, I have had an accident at work that was not my fault and suffered back injuries that require me to go to physiotherapy, how much compensation could I be entitled to?

I had an injury at work the ladder broke on me and I have severely injured my lower back and ive had soft tissue damage.

I work on a building site and I was ordered by my boss to take some material in a bucket up onto the scaffholding for some co workers, the ladder was old and unsafe and even painted which is against health and safety regulations, as I went to climb up with the heavy bucket in one hand the rung or step snapped out of place from underneath me and i fell of the 5th step of the ladder due to it breakibg.

I landed hard and had to be picked up, I reported the incident at wrk in the accident book, but the manager recorded it as a near miss.

I went to the hospital in an ambulance I was in so much pain I had to have medical attention and made a medical report, the doctor in A and E told me I have fractured my spine and have severe bruising to my lower back.

Ive been off work for 3 months and been going phsio therapy as part of my recovery.
