How much compensation can I claim for a broken tibia and fibula at work?

I had a complete break of my leg at work in an accident that was not my fault, I had not training or PPE from my employers can I make a claim?
I work in a warehouse and while moving a piece of furniture with a colleague when it came off the truck and broke my tibia and fibula and I had to go to A&E in an ambulance and while in hospitals doctors told me I will have to get wires and steel plates, how much compensation could I be entitled to?

Thank you for your enquiry.

This must have been incredibly painful.

I am pleased to advise that based on the accident circumstances, you would be entitled to make a claim for compensation against your employer as they are duty bound to ensure that you have access to the correct PPE and appropriate training for the tasks you’re expected to undertake.

In relation to your question regarding how much compensation you will receive, this is entirely dependent upon medical evidence. Medical evidence is obtained to both prove causation (the injuries where sustained as a direct result of the incident that has occurred) and provide a basis upon which we as your legal representative can accurately place a valuation upon your claim. However, as an estimate, based on the information you have provided, we believe that you could receive £10,000 upwards.
