How much compensation can I claim for osteoporosis in both knees from work?

I would like to make a claim for compensation against my former employer.

I had a job were I was on my feet all day going up and down stairs, over the years my legs got worse and worse until I was signed off sick with my doctor diagnosing me with osteoporosis in both knee joints, the doctor has aid this could be due to the work I was doing, would I be able to claim compensation? If so how much could I be entitled to?
