Hi can I get some free legal advice, I would like to make a claim for medical negligence against a hospital for complications from surgery.
I was told I need to have a metal on metal hip replacement fitted and had an operation to do so 5 years ago, then late last year I found out it has failed, its come loose and my metal ion levels in the blood are way over natural levels.
I have had scans earlier on this year when I first started feeling problems and have been back a few times since feeling run down and in pain.
They have x rayed me a few weeks ago and compared the xrays and have noticed it has come loose, plus doctors have the blood test results with written concerns from hospital and recommendations for surgery.
I am classed as an urgent case for a replacement which will be in 7 months, would I be entitled to any compensation.
How much compensation could I be entitled to for complications from hip replacement surgery?
Can I get a no win no fee solicitor to claim against the NHS?
