How much compensation could I claim for work related injuries after an attack in school?

I was wondering how much compensation I can receive from an attack from work

I am a substitute teacher and was working a pretty rough school in London to replace another teacher who had been injured at work.

A child at school caused me some serious injuries during a violent outburst and the pupil had been known for violent behaviour before.

I was jumped on, kicked and stabbed with whatever objects the child could find. My hip dislocated when the child continued to kick at my leg while he was laying on the ground trying to keep me from picking him up to carry him out the door.

I was trying to prevent the child from stabbing the other kids with a pen as he was doing before which caused me to get up to take the pencil out of his hand and rush to get him out of the room.

I went to the hospital.
My injuries are sciatica nerve pain, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis , budge disc, muscle spasms, hip pain buttock pain and pain shooting down my arms and legs 24_7.

Can I claim compensation for these personal injuries and if so how much could I expect for these damages?

thank you
