I had a car accident that was not my fault while driving a taxi, will claiming affect my job?

I am a private hire taxi driver and I had a car accident few days back while driving and suffered a back injury.

It was not my fault, a van drove into the back of my car and the driver admitted liability.

I was taken to hospital via ambulance and was released after several hours with morphine dose along with other drugs, would legal expert be able to get me a medical to see if I have whiplash?

i have been off work since the day of the accident, for about a week now and I am going to struggle for money.

My insurance is claiming the cost of my car repair from third party as it was their fault, i just need to get an answer from my insurance company if they will be pursuing my injury claim.

Do you think I have a valid claim for a work related injury? And would I be able to claim for loss of earnings as well?

Any advice you can give me would be very helpful, thank you

I am sorry to hear of your accident, however, I am please to advise that you would be able to make a claim.

We will look to instruct the Medical on your behalf in which an independent expert will assess your injuries to determine if you have whiplash.
We will look to claim back all of your loss of earnings for your time off. You are also entitled to claim financial losses such as treatment costs that flow from the Defendant’s negligence in driving into the back of your car. In other words, but for their negligence you would not have needed the treatment so you are entitled to claim those costs in addition to the claim for personal injury compensation.
