Hiya, I was working in the salon where I rent a chair and work as a self employed hair dresser when I got a severe electric shock off the boiler they provide us with in store.
I told the salon manager about the accident but didnt seek any medical help at the time because I had a job to get on with.
The boiler is a hazard and must be faulty machinery or equipment that keeps giving people an electrical shock and it should be too dangerous for use in public and needed to be replaced.
I have had a tingling in my arm and have been able to taste my fillings in my mouth since the incident, do I have a right to claim for compensation? and if so will the claim be against the salon because I worry I wont be able to go back and work there no more if I sue or make a case against them and would prefer not to get them into legal or financial trouble and fall out with the boss and managers as we are friends.
I appreciate any Legal advice your no win no fee solicitors can provide
