I have an accident on the motorway I have neck pain can I claim compensation?

I was involved in a 6 car pile up I was a passenger in the 3rd car at the time of the accident I could not feel any pain however the next day my neck was very stiff can I claim compensation and how do I get started. Do I need the registrations of all the other cars and vehicles involved in the accident or just the registration of the vehicle I was travelling in.
