I have been hurt on a building site.

Hi, I work on building sites. Last week I got hurt by some scaffolding, they are supposed to have caps on the end of pipes to stop us getting caught on them but someone had missed the cap off one. I have now got a cut down my arm after walking past and grazing myself on the end, I can't work with this arm now because the area is swollen and bruised so I'm loosing money. What can i do please???

Hi Tions. If you've been hurt at work you can put an injury claim forward for an accident like this. With injury claims if it affects your work like this does you can also claim any loss of earnings within that compensation too to recover any lost wages for the duration you can't work.
