I have injured my back at work, how long will it take to claim compensation?

I was working on a building site as a labourer, I was lifting a lot of heavy objects and never received any manual handling training from my employer.
I have been suffering with back problems and went to my GP and was signed off sick by my doctor.
How long will I have to wait to claim compensation for my injuries?

Thank you for your enquiry.

This must have been incredibly painful.

I am pleased to advise that based on the accident circumstances, you would be entitled to make a claim for compensation against you employer.

In terms of how long the process takes, the initial investigation period the Defendant is entitled too, is in fact 90 days. Following the 90 days, depending on the response of the Defendants legal representatives, the timeframes differ somewhat .

Please contact us on 0800 073 8804 to discuss his claim further and we can provide some detailed advice.
