I hit my head on top of a door frame can I claim compensation?

I was at work I hit my head on top of a door frame I was delivering a parcel to a business The door was smaller then usual and required me to step over the barrier at the bottom. I could not see any signs for mind your head. A sign for step was on the door which was open and could not be seen from inside, can I claim compensation and is this an accident at work or personal injury?
