I was in a RTA, not my fault, broken arm and fractured wrist, how much compensation can I claim?

I was in a road traffic accident today that was not my fault, the other car was driving dangerously and rear ended me and caused me serious injury.

I was driving safely to work in the morning when another driver hitting speed, over the limit and not paying attention hit the back of my vehicle hard and I badly hurt my arm as my body jerked holding on to the steering wheel.

I was taken to hospital in an ambulance because I had severe pain in my arm, shoulder and back, the doctors in A and E told me I have broken my arm and fractured my wrist with muscular bruising to my shoulder and whiplash to my spine.

I will be in a cast for some time and out of work.

Alls I have is the car description and reg plate number, the police took a incident report at the scene.

How much compensation could I claim for serious personal injuries like these?

And will I be able to claim back the money I will lose from missing work?
