If I claim compensation for work related injury will I be able to return to job after recovery?

I have suffered a back injury from an accident at work and need help because I want to make a claim for compensation for personal injuries.

I work for DHL as a warehouse operative and have suffered work related back injury, over time all the bending over and lifting heavy objects has done ware and tear damage to my back.

I have had to go to hospital for x rays and scans and the doctors have told me I have slipped discs and degradation to my spine

I just wanted to get advice as I am looking up to a year recovery time and also the NHS might not be able to give me my treatment for a couple of months due to NHS waiting list and I am feeling very depressed from it all.

I was wondering if I was to claim, would I get compensation? If so roughly how much? And what is required to put a claim through?
If I do claim compensation for a work related injury will I be able to return to my job after recovery?

Hi Frank,

I am sorry to hear that. It sounds like you could be eligible to make a repetitive strain compensation claim.

When you make a claim, it is not legally allowed to affect your position within the firm, so yes. You can certainly make a claim.

We would accept your claim on a no win no fee basis.
