Machine dropped heavy weight on toes, crushed foot in accident at work, can I claim compensation?

Hi had an bad accident at work last year that was not my fault and I was severely injured as a result.

I suffered a severe crush to my foot causing 3 metatarsal fractures and 18 stitches, what would my claim pay out be worth for damages to this extent?

A forklift driver, who was not very good as an operator and had been in several near miss incidents in the accident book anyway was moving some heavy objects for me, I was signalling my colleague where to move the crate, I was using the proper technique and working safely.
Forks had about a tone of plastic on them on a wooden pallet, as he lowered the stack the machine jerked and drop the pallet on my toes.

The company I was working for has taken 100% liability for the incident and the manager reported it in the accident book.

I was taken to hospital in an ambulance where the doctors told me I had 3 metatarsal fractures and 17 switches to foot and 5 stitches especially to back of heel.
The doctors said I will be out of work for a long time and I will miss out on a lot of money as I was earning a good wage at the time.

How much compensation could I be entitled to for a severe work related injury?

How can I claim back money for loss of earnings?
