my wife was given the wrong medication

I wanted to raise a formal claim against the pharmacy, my wife went to pick up her regular medication as always. Over the next few weeks she took her medication as usual but was showing side effects that have never happened before (nausea, vomiting etc). I had a look at her medication and we found that she's been given something else by mistake. We're not ones to cause a fuss really and we've been with our pharmacy for years but this is something that's caused quite a stress to my wife, it coul've been even worse than it was.
Do you think we have a valid case against them?

Hiya Seenitioneve. So sorry to hear about your wife there, that's really awful and I hope she feels better soon.
With these types of claims, any illness or symptoms resulting in wrong medication that has been given must last a minimum of 4 weeks for a claim to be made. if it's been less than that then a claim may not be successful unfortunately. But if it has been longer than 4 weeks/a month it might be worth looking to pursue it.
