Parent died in fatal car accident, other drivers fault, she didn't wear seatbelt can we still claim?

Can me and my siblings claim compensation for the loss of our mum through a road traffic accident that was not her fault.

Hi my mum died as a result of car accident injuries caused by careless or dangerous driving from the third party.
Nothing can replace our mum but I was wondering if it's possible to claim against the other driver, she was a passenger my dad was driver, he was driving carefully but she had no seat belt on.

Police investigating say the other driver is at fault and will probably be prosecuted and I have coroner's short report confirming my mothers death from severe head injuries and brain trauma.

Mum was a major provider in the household and was loved more than anyone, can we claim compensation for our grievance and for the lose of an important member of the family who provided a lot?

In terms of looking after us and making everything work she cannot be replaced but we need help to move on from this sad situation.

If my siblings want to claim should it be joint or separate claims?

How do I go about making claim? Will I incur legal fees?

Will it affect our claim that she never wore a safety belt?
And do I have to wait for the third party to admit liability or be prosecuted for manslaughter?

Any free legal advice would be greatly appreciated
