Road traffic accident cycling, driver at fault fractured elbow severe cuts, can I claim?

I was in a rta today while on my bicycle, a specialised high end road bike the other party was at fault. I have spent the last 5 hours in hospital and they told me I had muscle damage in my left arm and a fractured elbow with cuts and scrapes to my forearm and palms of my hands from the crash. as well as this my bike is badly damaged, its broken, bent wheel will cost a lot to repair and so is my phone with a smashed, cracked screen.

I also have video evidence from the go pro camera on my helmet the other party was at fault and a police incident number around half nine in the morning and he must have been commuting to work when he sped out as he pulled out of his drive way straight in my path of direction, the only issue I have, is the bike was a gift so I don't have a receipt for it, one more question what sort of time frame would it be roughly for the process as this is my primary means of transport getting to and from work, it takes me a lot longer on the bus and it kept me late every day so, so ive missed work and lost wages as well as sustaining injuries and damages to my bike.
