Slipped and fell on back down public stairway, are housing liable for my personal injuries?

Hi I have had a slip and fallen in a communal stair way the other day in morning on my way to work, the stair cleaner witnessed my fall, there were no wet floor signs and the janitor did not warn me of the danger. I have badly bruised my back, legs and backside/bum area, which I have pictures of on my phone for photographic evidence, I have been unable to walk for two days and can not sit down unless it is on the other side and I am waiting for someone to drive me to the doctors, I think I fractured my coccyx tail bone when I slipped and fell because there is a lot of pain and discomfort in that area.

The steps leading from my top floor flat to the ground floor were left dangerously slippery, It is owned by all different people some Liverpool housing association and some private landlords but I would say the stair cleaning company would be at fault as they were cleaning the stairs without erecting any wet floor or hazard signs or stopping any residents from braking their neck.

Do I sue the cleaner or their business for my personal injuries or should I make a claim against the council or landlords for compensation for my damages?

Also how much money could I expect to receive for slip trip fall accident where I was hurt like this?
