Son hurt in attack

My 15 year old son has been assaulted by a gang of lads of no reason, he wont say why or who it was even though he knows. He wont speak to police either about it. I heard he could get compo for his injuries off the attack is this true??

Hi, sorry to hear this I hope your son is okay. If he has been the victim of an attack a claim can be made to the CICA who provide compensation to victims of crime. To apply there would need to be a crime reference number provided and police co-operation on the investigation. As your son is a minor you can act on his behalf and continue to co-operate with the police on this and a claim can be made.
