I was in a restaurant with my young son of only a few years and a waiter accidently slipped dropped a hot tea on him glass smashed on the floor by him and he was burnt by boiling water.
He was scaled and has been very up set since the accident, I don't know if it was recorded in the accident book. The manager came over to check on us and one of the staff was a qualified first aider, we were just given a cream to put on him by the first aider and given a free meal by the restaurant.
Just want to see if I can make a claim, he only got a little bit on his arm but he has been scalded and left with burn marks that will scar for years.
Can I claim compensation for an accident like this?
Will my son be entitled to more compensation because he is an infant?
How much money to restaurants normally pay out for accidents like this?
I would like a no win no fee solicitor to make a claim for compensation against the restaurant
