Accident in November

I had a car accident in Nov at night where someone driving on the wrong side of the road crashed into me writing off my car. Since then I have had awful anxiety and multiple hospital visits for pain. The guy was prosecuted for careless driving. Is there anything I can do to get compensation as it's causing me multiple issues.
