Hello, I was at a restaurant last week with friend. I have a nut allergy and asked twice if the food I ordered had nuts in and they said no. I quickly found out this was wrong and had a terrible reaction to my food. I was taken from the restaurant by ambulance as I couldn’t breathe when my airways became restricted. I spent 2 days in hospital because of this and the restaurant only offered me an apology and a refund. I am looking to take this further and would like some assistance. Thanks.

Sorry to hear this, that's terrible. If you are looking to pursue a claim against the restaurant you may want to look for a no win no fee soliciotr, they dont charge any upfront costs and will only take the cost of legal fees as a percentage out of any compensation amount of a successful claim. If you have a receipt/booking ref/any proof from the resturant that would be useful for them as they can provide it as extra evidence. Best of luck.
