I was using a hotel hairdryer it set on fire and burnt my arm. The hairdryer was faulty. This was a miniature hairdryer and when I was drying my hair wire from hairdryer sparked and went on fire. Was reported to manager. Completed accident report form at the desk but nothing further, where do I go from here?

Hi Swerhat, sorry to hear this happened to you. If you have a copy of the accident form you can take it to a now in no fee solicitor with any other details and they can look to put a claim forward on your behalf against the hotel's insurance. If this has happened in a non UK country the solicitor may ask a few questions such as country it happened in, if it was a package holiday etc. These are just standard procedure questions to make sure they can assist you properly in line with the jurisdiction of the country it happened in.
