Can I claim back my wages including any bonus I missed out on because I was injured from an accident at work?

I have suffered an accident at work, I had a slip and fall accident were cleaning staff had mopped the floor and not left any warning or wet floor signs.
I slipped over and went flying and injured my knee and elbow and had to take a week off work.

Also if I have suffered a personal injury at work where I have missed the opportunity to receive bonuses from my wages, am I entitled to recover them as part of my loss of earnings?
Could I lose my job for making a claim against my employer?

Thank you for your enquiry.

I am sorry to read about your accident at work.

I am pleased to advise that based on the accident circumstances, you would be entitled to make a claim for compensation against your employer, which would include a claim for loss of earnings.

Making a claim is not legally allowed to affect your employment. You may then have grounds for an employment claim.

Please contact us on 0800 073 8804 to discuss his claim further and we can provide some detailed advice.
