Dog bite help please.

Hello, I would like to ask about an accident involving a dog bite. My sister was invited to her friends birthday gathering and after the gathering, my sister accompanied them to another person’s house, and she was bitten by the owner's dog over her face. She received medical help at the hospital where she was given three stitches over her nose and ten stitches in her upper lip, which is a deep wound for her. I would like to know how she could claim for damages from the owner?

Hiya, sorry to hear that. If your sister can get the contact information of the dog owners there is potential for a claim. Usually a claim can only be made if the dog is insured so it might be best to get her to check that first.
