I was bitten by a dog whilst walking in the park the other day. The dog was off the lead and not muzzled and attacked unprovoked. I’ve needed multiple stitches to my arm and leg because of this. Is there anyway I can get compensation?
Hi Brist. You may be able to make a claim for compensation providing you have the details of the dog owner and they can confirm the dog is insured. It's very difficult to make a claim without any pet insurance to go against but if you speak to a solicitor about it they may be able to help.
