I was burnt on a flight with coffee due to the fault of the air hostess / cabin crew can I claim compensation?

I ordered a coffee from the trolley on a flight and as the stewardess handed me the paper cup she spilled the hot drink on me and scalded my arms, I was left with ugly, unsightly burns that hurt and caused me discomfort all through my holiday, can I claim compensation?
